By booking a course with Novelli Academy, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below.
Please read them carefully before completing your enrolment.

2. Making a Booking
To book a course, you must:

be aged 18 or over
-
have legal capacity to enter a contract
-
provide accurate and up-to-date details
-
tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements
If you are attending to produce a commercial review or article, please tell us when booking.
3. Booking Confirmation
-
After submitting your enrolment form, you will receive an acknowledgement email (this does not confirm your place).
-
Your booking is confirmed only when we send you a Confirmation Email.
-
If your chosen date is unavailable, we will offer alternatives.
-
Gift voucher purchases may require additional information after confirmation.
4. Your 14-Day Cooling-Off Rights
If you book online as a consumer:
-
You have 14 days from the date of your Confirmation Email to cancel your booking.
-
You will receive a full refund.
-
No reason is required.
Courses Taking Place Within 14 Days of Booking
If your course is scheduled to take place within 14 days of your booking being confirmed:
-
You will be asked to give your express consent to begin the service during the 14-day cooling-off period.
-
Once you give this consent, the 14-day cooling-off period no longer applies.
-
This means you will not be able to cancel your booking or receive a refund.

Gift vouchers and third party vouchers are non-refundable.
5. Course Fees & Payment

All prices on the website include VAT.

Payment is taken when we send the Confirmation Email.

Payment can be made by debit/credit card or valid gift voucher.
-
Vouchers must be used within their stated validity period.
-
If payment fails, we may cancel your booking.
6. Cancellations After the Cooling-Off Period
Once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed (or is waived), all bookings are non-refundable.
-
No refunds are offered for any reason after the cooling-off period.
-
We strongly recommend taking out insurance to cover illness, travel disruption, personal emergencies, or other unexpected events.
7. If We Postpone or Cancel a Course
-
If a course does not meet the required minimum number of attendees, we may postpone it.
Where possible, we will give at least two weeks’ notice. -
If your course is postponed, we will email you available alternative dates.
-
If none of the proposed dates work for you, you may choose any suitable date of equal value listed on our website.
-
You have 9 months from the date of postponement to rebook (or longer if your voucher has extended validity).

Refunds or upgrades are not offered for postponements caused by events outside our control (Force Majeure), including:

extreme weather
-
natural disasters
-
pandemics/epidemics
-
civil unrest
-
fire or building issues
-
utility failures
-
8. Your Responsibilities During the Course
Please ensure you:

provide accurate information when booking
-
follow staff guidance and safety instructions
-
maintain hygiene and behave appropriately
-
act safely and respectfully at all times
We may ask you to leave if your behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.
You are responsible for damage caused to property or equipment (excluding fair wear and tear).
9. Our Responsibilities
We will deliver the course with reasonable skill and care. However:

We may make changes to menus, ingredients, dishes, chefs, or activities if needed.

We may change the location if Crouchmoor Farm is unavailable; if the change prevents you attending, we will try to move you to another date.

Our total liability is limited to the course fee you paid.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as travel, accommodation, missed work, or inconvenience.
We do not exclude liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by our negligence
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
-
anything that cannot legally be excluded
10. Communications
We communicate mainly by email.
Notices are considered received:
-
Email: 24 hours after sending
-
Post: 3 working days after posting
You agree to electronic communication for booking-related matters.
11. Transfer of Bookings

Bookings cannot be transferred to another person without our written permission.

Gift vouchers may be used by someone other than the purchaser.
12. Data Protection
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
13. Complaints
To submit a complaint, email academy@jeanchristophenovelli.com or write to our postal address.
14. Photography & Promotional Use

If you send us feedback, please tell us if you prefer it not to be used in promotional material.

We may take photos or video during courses for promotional use on our website and social media.
-
By attending, you consent to being included in such media without payment.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions form the full agreement between you and Novelli Academy regarding your booking.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England & Wales.
